Hello everyone! Its getting close to that time of year again where we hear sound of fireworks, smell of barbeque, and traveling to spend time with family and friends. Yes I am referring to the Fourth of July. This is one of my favorite holidays not because of the meaning, but because I get to act like a kid all over again. I get to hang with my daughter and her cousins and pop fireworks and pig out like I am not on this diet. Yes I said diet. I have been on this protein and veggie diet to try an lose some weight in the stomach area. I started this diet last Sunday and I am proud to say I am very committed. Now don't get me wrong I have been craving my favorites which of course are hot wings and an orange Fanta (I really miss y'all). I am very committed as I stated and I hope I remain eating healthy once I reach my goal.
Today's look, I decided to wear my thrifted nude fringe skirt. This is my favorite skirt. It is so comfortable and very flowy. The material is extremely soft and the pictures does not do it justice. I found this skirt at a local consignment shop and I fell in love, it was like love at first sight. This was one of greatest investment, which was only $12. Yes!!!! I hit the jackpot. This skirt will be worn a lot in different blog posts, so don't be alarm or be like didn't she just have that on because I wear things over ok. I decided to wear my H&M orange racerback top to bring the skirt out. This pop of color did this skirt justice and paired with my nude lace heels just took it to another level.
When it comes to neutral tones, you can always style a bright color item to add a little color to your look. This will bring out the neutral tones more. So don't be afraid to wear that pop of color, but if you are just start small by accessorizing with either a statement necklace, a clutch or a pair of heels. Once you create a neutral look with a pop of color comment below and lets see how you styled it.
