Hello everyone! What an amazing and blessed week I am having. I hope everyone is having the same! I changed the layout of my website, which I may make a few more changes in the next few weeks. I received the best news today. I will be traveling to LA in August. This is an all expense paid trip and I am very excited for one I have never been to LA and two this is one the top places I would like to start my fashion career at. When I tell you God has been blessing me and I just want to thank him for this opportunity. This is an opportunity to network with other stylists, bloggers, and fashion designers. I plan on applying for jobs and also exploring the city to get a feel of everything. This is one trip I am going to make the best of no matter what. I am just very excited and blessed.
Today I finished organizing my clothes, which was extremely hectic. I have bags of clothing I am going to send to the good will because its things I'm not wearing that is taking up space in my closet. Sometimes I can be a compulsive shopper and not realize until I actually revamp my closet, when I tell you its a headache (its a headache). I'm just hoping to bless someone deserving with my donations.
For today's look, of course I layered again. Like stated in previous posts, layering is not only done during the cold weather, you can always achieve this look year round. I decided to wear my DIY sleeveless duster with my all time favorite white shirt dress. This shirt dress can be paired with denims, thigh high boots, or accessorize with a skinny belt. This style shirt will never go out of style so if you own one do not give away. I also accessorize this look with a grey bow tie, grey fedora floppy hat and grey heels. This hat can be worn with anything. You can wear with a dress, denims, skirts, shorts, etc. This look can be dressed up and it can be dressed down. You can remove the bow tie and leave the top half open and remove the heels and add loafers which can turn the look casual in less then 5 minutes without spending money. Two looks in one day. How would you wear your shirt dress?
