"I Define Me"

I consider graphic tees the longtime wardrobe staple.  A graphic tee can easily be the focus of a chic ensemble.  I don’t know what I would do without mine; I wear it all the time!  I love to pair a trendy graphic statement shirt with my favorite skinny jeans, wide leg trousers, lounge pants, and of course shorts in the spring and summer.

At first glance, the graphic tee seems almost self-explanatory (throw it over some jeans, slip on your trusted sneakers, and you’re done).  Typically a graphic tee is typically associated with easy going outfits, but with a little creativity you can elevate this piece and make it part of a fashion-forward look.  For my look I wore “Pussy Not War” graphic tee which was designed by “These Pink Lips.”  The shirt seems very derogatory and vulgar but the meaning is very and inspiring to every woman.  The meaning behind the shirt is encouraging women to be sexy, strong, beautiful, and comfortable with their femininity and power.

I suffered with being self conscience with my body and speaking out on my truth on issues I deal with on a day to day basis.  I have become very self-confident in my body that anything anyone uses against me wouldn’t hurt because I embrace my flaws.  I always needed some type of validation from men especially when it came to sex and money.  I used that to take care of them and also have sex with them because I felt like that would help them love me more.  I am happy I have changed and learned to love myself more and value my worth.  I am ME!
