New goals, new mindset, new jobs, new places, and new friends are amongst the things that change in our lives. Life is all about changing for the better. Sometimes we get so caught up in changing those things and forget about changing our appearances. Yes, your appearance (that can mean everything from your hair to your wardrobe) is very important in life changes. Sometimes people get so accustomed to staying inside their box when it comes to their appearance that they are afraid to try different looks for fear of what others might think. In reality, changing your appearance can help you mentally with any issues you have within. It will help you build confidence and gives you the power to own everything you are trying to accomplish. So try cutting or dying your hair or just simply trying a new hairstyle that can help you feel free because it is you, being you. Not only is that, changing your style key as well. Try stepping outside of your box or comfort zone and wear something you always wanted to wear. Wear something you usually wouldn’t wear, whether it's to your day job or a night out on the town. Be free and be expressive with your style. Walk into that building or room with confidence and own your new look. Never be afraid to work on your appearance because it is key to your spiritual change and key to reinventing yourself. Make the change in your look fun and all about you. Never feel like you are trying too hard and never be afraid to try something different. Yes change is hard and scary, but when you are trying to change any aspect of your life it will be worth the reward in the end. Stop talking yourself out of things and just go for it. It starts with you and only you can take the first step. It doesn't cost much to change your style it, just takes time for you to get to that point and yes you will because I believe in you.
I was just like you. It took me some time to accept my body and be comfortable in my clothes. I worried what others might think of me, worrying about whether something would look good on me but I realized I'm living for me and I deserve to be happy. I needed to learn to accept my body and learn that some things simply do not work for me. I played around with clothes and also different colors and finally found out what worked for me. Guess what; now that I'm 31 it has been working so far.
So are you born free to dress to the change that you want?
